Almost new!

YES!
Got my laptop back this weekend! New harddisk, new memory, new processor, new OS! As you can imagine I have to reïnstall everything. So for the moment there will not be anything here to show you that I've made.

But of course I am able to share with you some stuff others made!

Since a week now I'm home with the flu. My head aches and all my muscles are hurting. What irritates me most off all is that I just can not concentrate. For a few minutes I can scrap on my computer and then I just have to do something else. I read my book for lets say 5 minutes and out of the blue I can not focus anymore.

You might think that with so many people in the house all the things I normally do around here will be easily devided. WRONG!  Every time something has to be done I had to ask. Like walking the dog, buying the stuff for dinner and offcourse the first days preparing the dinner. It's a shame.

But I slept a lot and I'm feeling a little better now.

Just before I got ill I promised the people of the equestrian class I teach, I would make a card for one of the lady's of the class who's also ill, she has Pfeiffer's disease. Since I had/have trouble concentrating (boy, this little writing is also a giant effort!) the card turned out to be cute but simple. Hope she likes it.
I made it with the lovely kit "Breath of Magic"from StarLight Designs

And the teen-twins of my girl friend (whom I know for almost all my life) were having their birthday and like all teens their wishes are big. Then money is the best thing to please them though it's not so nice to give.

So I thought let's make this a little more like a real gift.

I took 2 rolls of tissuepaper and made them into 2 little giftbags.



Also quite simple but much nicer than some money in an envelope!

I hope next time I feel a little bit better. Maybe then I'll show you another little scrapbook I'm making.

Bedankje

Gisteren twee lieve konijntjes gekregen van de buurvrouw (foto's volgen nog). Als bedankje heb ik voor haar een foto van haar zoontje Ricky gescrapt.
Natuurlijk gemaakt in kleur , maar al doende besloten om hem verder in zwart/wit te zetten met een vleugje geel in de bovenkant. Volgens mij wel leuk geworden zo.

Mini scrapbook and a digital one.

Finally finished my little scrapbook in Black & White & Pink. During the holidays I've made the last changes and it was my christmas present for my youngest daughter.

For my oldest daughter I eventually scrapped the picture I wanted to do for a long time. Only now I made a quick digital scrap instead of a "normal"one. I put it in a gotic silver frame and it looks lovely.

I still have all the embellishments to make an original one, so maybe in the future it will be done :)



Just wanted to share those with you.

Some catching up to do...

It has been a long time since I've visited my blog. What happened? I really could not say, just that time flies!
All the little things in daily life seem to take all of my time. I sketched a bit on my wacom but didn't finish anything. And the little scrapbook I started....not yet finished!

But there is some improvement, cause last week it was a one week autumn-holiday here in Holland, so I went to the caravan with the two youngest and got a bit of peace and quietness in me. My daughter brought along a friend of her and the three of them enjoyed their selves with doing games in- and outside and did jigsaw puzzles when it rained. And finally I had the time to make some progress in my scrapping. Its not yet finished though, but I have a good feeling about it that I'm going to finish it.

Also I was  introduced in Geocaching some time ago by a friend of mine . (http://www.geocaching.com/)
 I started it together with my youngest daughter, the rest of the family doesn't think much of it, but we both do have a lot of fun together! And last week it wasn't raining all the time, so we went out for a walk with some other friends to seek a cache! And allthough my GPS failed in the end, out of battery, we managed to find it!

So maybe when I really never scrap anything again I can allways make this my Geocaching-blog (LOL).

Well ok, I'll finally show you a card I made for a newborn here in my street. (So you see, I did make something).  I did not put a lot of energy in it I must confess. Just used a freebie from Katherine of Magical Reality Designs and added a few things.

But its the thought that counts, isn't it? : )

Just scrapping

I don't know if it's the wheather or something else but I just can't get myself to work on the computer recently.

So I started to make a little ordinary scrapbook when I realised that my nephew and his girlfriend were getting married this month! The rest of the scrapbook had to wait a little longer, first I had to make a nice card for the wedding!
At first I didn't seem to have any inspiration, but looking at my front page of the scrapbook (I so much want to get on with it) I desided to take that as an example.

On the empty page I made a little heart out of the same paper I used on the front and I printed a purple text on it.

In the end I was very pleased with it. I hope they are too. It was a lovely wedding.

Ik weet niet waar het in zit, in het weer of is het ergens anders door, maar de laatste tijd kom ik er maar niet toe om op de computer te werken.

Daarom was ik weer begonnen om een scrapboekje te maken toen ik me plotseling realiseerde dat mijn neef en z'n vriendin deze maand gingen trouwen! Het scrapboekje moest nog maar even wachten, eerst moest ik een mooie trouwkaart maken.

In eerste instantie had ik niet veel inspiratie, maar uiteindelijk heb ik de voorkant van het scrapboekje (waar ik zo graag mee verder wil gaan!) als uitgangspunt genomen.

Op de lege pagina op de foto's heb nog een mooi hart gemaakt van hetzelfde papier als ik op de voorkant heb gebruikt, waar ik een paarse tekst op heb geprint.

Al met al was ik er zeer tevreden over. Hopelijk zij ook. Het was een mooie bruiloft.

Finally I am able to show you something new I made! For the last weeks I was very busy, but in between all kind of appointments I managed to finish the layout I made using a picture of my little cousin Yara. Isn't she sweet?
Credits for Mystique Designs. I used several kits for the paper and elements. And I put some of my own stuff in it.

Eindelijk kan ik dan weer wat nieuws laten zien! Ik heb het de laatste paar weken erg druk gehad, maar tussen de bedrijven door is het dan toch gelukt om de layout af te maken met een foto van mijn kleine nichtje Yara. Lief hé?
De credits zijn voor Mystique Designs. Ik heb de achtergrond en elementen uit verschillende kits van haar gebruikt. Toegevoegd met wat eigen dingetjes.

And furthermore I'ld like to wish Minoush from Creadorena all the best. I hope they really can help her and the time in the clinic will be over before she know's it. All my love Minoush!

New LO

Na een emotionele begravenis, had ik nog even tijd nodig om alles een plaatsje te kunnen geven voor mezelf. Maar zoals altijd in een gezin draait alles gewoon door en liep ik daardoor al vrij snel achter met mijn dagelijkse bezigheden.

Maar hier ben ik dan weer en nog wel met een hele mooie layout gemaakt met de kit Vintage Inspiration van Creadorena.
De foto van mijn kids is vrij recent. Vorige maand waren we naar Burger's Zoo geweest en daar heb ik deze leuke foto kunnen maken. Ik vind hem wel een plaatsje in mijn blog waard :)

After an emotional funeral I needed some time for myself to get everything in my mind in the right place again. But as always in a busy family life goes on and because of my little time off I got a bit behind with everything.

But I'm back and I want to show you a beautiful layout I made with the kit 'Vintage Inspiration' of Creadorena.
This photograph of my kids I made recently. Last month we were visiting Burger's Zoo and that's where I made this picture. I think it's worth showing on my blog :)
